I’ve been using WordPress at my site, Planetnelson, for years. It’s been a terrific platform but I’m getting tired of updating the server (my brother’s — thanks, Jeff) when new versions come out. Plus the theme I use doesn’t seem to do well with video or Flash. Anyway, I just thought it was time for me to try something new and hosted rather than keep accumulating crap on the old site.
So this seems a good way to do it. I’m going to try it out and experiment on this site just to see if I want to go to the trouble of moving Planetnelson over. It means I will lose all that link love (not that I’m well-linked but a link is a link).
So there you go; it’s a test and I hope to see how well it works out. Wish me luck!
